Dear friend's wedding

I spent my last three days in Kävlinge to attend my dear sister’s wedding ceremony. Kävlinge is also a beautiful village in Skane,it just lies to the north of Malmö.Before we went there,I went to the shop and bought a perfume, cuz my old one nearly ran out.I took a pictures in a queue-statues,aha~I like this picture, because my body language,I think I am one of them. When I passed by the H & M shop,I couldn’t stop myself buying things,I think H & M is really good,it’s cheap and morden,I like it.then I have my new bag... ...

It was midsummer day,20th June, in Sweden,so there was a small celebration in the village, they stood a cross shaped pole on the ground, but I don’t know the meaning of doing so.I figured people might wanna get blessing and pray for a good life in the whole year, but anyway,it’s a good tradition.People there were chatting with each other, wearing traditional clothes, kids were chasing with each other, with bright smile.

About the bride and groom, they are really kind people. They hold their wedding ceremony in the church, cuz they are Christians. They swore in front of the god. When they said”I will” to each other,I cried,I was happy for them and I prayed for them to our dear father in the heaven to ask his blessing on them. This is the only picture I took contained both of them.In the middle of the left picture is our beautiful bride and the other two are the priest and bride’s father(my uncle).

After the wedding ceremony in the afternoon,we had a party in the evening to celebrate their 2 became 1.That was wonderful, every body enjoyed the dinner, cuz all the food there was absolutely Chinese food, most people hadn’t had Chinese food for a long time.Someone sang songs to send their wishes to the groom and bride.I am also pleased for them, they are good people, they deserve happy life,I am ecstatic for them and very happy that I was there witnessing their most important moment in their life,I know that they will be together with each other in the rest of their lives, god bless you!

Firsts

that first ray from the sun, that first drop of rain, that first leaf that falls during winter, and millions other firsts in nature, make a place in our hearts, and stay, for they deserve to, for a long time. maybe that is why they are a part of nature, these firsts, for leaving a mark, on the minds of most, and then again, we do have a habit of remenbering firsts, whatever they might be. and maybe that is how we live, holding on to memories that give us joy, and trying to forget incidents that give us pain. i write maybe before most of my sentences because i am no wise-man who knows everything in this world. i am just an observer, like most others in this world. there are only a few who are ( or atleast seem to be ) absolutely sure about how the world works. i am not one of them.

Kunf Fu Panda

I watched a movie today called Kung Fu Panda,It is really a gorgeous one, actually hilarious. It mainly tells a story about a panda Po who works in a noodle shop owned by his goose father,he is also fanatic about kung fu,and has a dream of becoming a great master in the discipline.Po doesn’t expect that he was chosen by accident to become the Dragon Warrior. After the strict training which was given by Shifu,he finally becomes a talented martial artist in his own way,the real Dragon Warrior. He defeats the bad guy,a snow leopard artist, and saves the valley of peace. About the Furious Five in the movie, tigress, monkey, crane, viper and mantis,I suppose that they ain’t be chosen arbiterily by the directior Mark Orsborne,I know they stand for the five fists in chinese kung fu.Panda is distributed only in China as well as the snow leopard. The chinese ancient buildings in the movie look just like Hongcun(see the pictures),it’s been included on the list of World Cultural Heritages.By the way I must correct a little defect, the white cakes, they(Po and his Shifu) were scrambling with the chopsticks in the movie, are not called dumplings, but Baozi,if I translate it into english,it should probably be steamed stuffed bun.aha, maybe they ain’t know the real name of that stuff in chinese. Enjoy a trailer

Dear Swedish Friends

Last Thursday my swedish friends invited us and the american friends to their home to have dinner. We were very excited to get there. This was a good opportunity to know the swedish way of life and the traditional swedish food as well, and for us each other. Our swedish friends are a young couple. They are very kind, full of energy. They spent their honey moon in Beijing,so they have special affections for Beijing.Stina told me that she really wanna live in Beijing for a couple of years, she really wanna know more about China, and Beijing. We talked about lots of different aspects between Sweden and China. There were some widgets hanging on the wall, which they bought from China two years ago.I was very happy that they really love Beijing just like i lov Sweden.

Next time we plan to invite them to our apartment,we can make Chinese meat pie(Xianbing) and vegatable pie(cuz Stina is a vegetarian) for them, and they told me that they all expected to come, cuz they all enjoyed the Chinese food.
But first I should go and buy 4 chairs from IKEA…I just have 2 chairs in the apartment.

Easter in Prague

I have been very busy ever since the easter,so I posted nothing about our ester trip in Czech and Germany, but I think I can do it now.
We have been in Prague for 3 days and it's been a great experience. We got there on Tuesday evening,March 18th,It was cold and we felt a little bit tired, but we still got a overview tour of the whole city starting from our hotel and walking through the Henry's Bell Tower,Powder Tower,Astronomical Clock, and reaching the Charles Bridge.Due to the cold weather and the time,we decided to go back to hotel. The new thing to us here was the tram,we didn't have it in Beijing ,and the way back to the hotel was not near,so we got on the tram ,experiencing our first tram riding.
Two photoes below:Henry's Bell Tower,Charles Bridge's tower

Our hotel was just 4 tram stops from the central station of Prague and someone ever told me that if you wanna know and see the true Prague,it'd be great to visit Prague by walking and I think it's nice to be off the beaten path a bit.One more thing was that after Cesky Krumlov, where we loved the freedom of walking everywhere,we were used to it.
Four photoes below:city view, tram on the street,Tyn Church, statue on Charles Bridge.

One of the most impressive thing I think was that the weather there was very beautiful, though a little bit cold but the sky was blue and clear. We walked along the hundreds years cobble stone street, looking at the beautiful ancient buildings around us,the feeling was really good.
Two photoes below are:Astronomical Clock

We spent nearly the whole day at the Prague Castle,it situated on a hill at the edge of the city,it was quite the hike up there ,but definitely worth it when you got there. The view was amazing!really amazing!
I did have some other folks take pictures of me and the city, but I somehow ended up with my eyes closed in 90% of them..so just see the scenery below. The first one on the left,do you see the cow on that bamboo pole?second one is inside the old royal castle, see that ceilings, awesome, isn't it?the last two is St.Vitus Cathedral.

This is called what it is called

I wanna blog this post starting with the prayer. My dear father in the heaven,I am very grateful to you for giving me this opportunity to live in this wonderful world,my lord, with this prayer,I ask for your blessings on my dear Katherine,my family,my friends.May angels fill their nights and bless their days.May they find joy and peace and harmony,May I be a source of happiness in their lives.May our bond be strong and based on truth. May they always know that,in me,they have my support.May I live a life that lives up to this prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ,Amen!
I have already finished the study of this semester,a really busy semester, becourse of fracture mechanics,it’s absolutely a tough one.Last Friday,we had the exam of this course,we had 5 master students to take the exam, there were only 5 test questions, and we would finish them within 5 hours, somebody thought it’s enough, maybe not necessary, to finish 5 questions in 5 hours, I wanna only say,you did not understand the situation here. One hour after the beginning of the exam ,3 guys gave up,they did not figure out even one question, just left me and another guy.4 hours passed I'd already finished 4 questions, when I was calculating the last one,the Professor Per(He is the chairman of the National Committee of Mechanics of Sweden, one of the most famous professor of solid mechanics all over the world now.) came to my desk and check the answers of the 4 questions I had done. You know I was very nervous then,I just wrote the answers but I hadn't checked it yet.He looked at my papers for a while,I saw a satisfactory smile on his face, and at the same time ,I knew that I did a really good job.He said to me that I was great,I had no problems about the questions. For the last question, the professor asked me if I could solve the problem, and I told him I really didn't know how to figure it out,so the professor help me to draw a figure and demonstrate the relationships between the 2 variables and told me that I could finish this problem at home, and then he collected all my 4-answered-questions and took them away, and said to me:You are free now,and have a nice week end.
Now we have 3-months summer vacation,I think I'd better make a plan of travelling in Sweden during this beartuful summer.
